Ginkgo biloba works as an antioxidant and contains 24% flavone glycosides and 6% terpene lactones, which can help maintain cerebral blood flow to assist memory function and mental clarity.²† Vinpocetine and huperzine A work together with ginkgo biloba to help support cognitive function and vascular blood flow including cerebral blood flow that may help support memory.³† In a study of vinpocetine in older persons it improved significantly the cognitive functions, overall status, and quality of life in patients with mild cognitive impairment, and huperzine A has been found to increase memory function and learning even in healthy persons by improving vascular blood flow.^4 5†
