Grape Seed & Resveratrol provides timed-release action which makes it easy to take. A timed-release product works by dissolving over a period of time, which allows for an extended-release of the dietary ingredients into the body. That means you take ONLY one tablet for sustained benefits every day. Just take it and forget it until the next day. You get 235 mg of grape seed extract, 75 mg of grape skin extract, 25 mg of grape juice extract, 75 mg of resveratrol, and 100 mg of Vitamin C all in one small tablet that is easy-to-swallow.†
Grape Seed & Resveratrol:
- Promotes heart health†
- Timed-release for sustained action
- Plus benefits of whole grape
This formulation may help provide cardiovascular support from grape seed, plus it contains resveratrol, which may provide added heart health advantages. The grape seed and grape skin extracts in our formulation are both standardized so that each tablet provides a consistent amount of polyphenols and proanthocyanidins.†
Polyphenols and proanthocyanidins are naturally found in plants and are attributed, at least in part, with antioxidant protection. Resveratrol is the compound found in red wine that may provide additional heart support through various mechanisms.
Free radicals are formed during the normal, ongoing process of cell rejuvenation in the body. Most free radicals are molecules with an unpaired electron. The unpaired electron makes many free radicals highly reactive. A free radical wants to get back in balance by either donating or stealing an electron from another molecule. This can sometimes set off a chain reaction. During this chain reaction, sometimes vital cells are changed and/or damaged.
Usually, the body’s own antioxidants can counter free radical production. However, as we age, the free radical production may begin to speed up. The theory behind taking an antioxidant is that it may assist in stopping the chain reaction set off by free radicals.†
This product has more antioxidants with the benefits of Whole Grape and Vitamin C than with Grape Seed alone. It is a source of proanthocyanidins. These antioxidants may help to limit damage by free radicals
